We have been electroplating on our current site for 75 years, we know the business. From humble beginnings in a single building to over 25,000 square ft of modern electroplating plant & equipment. UKChrome (formally R. Wilson & Co (Platers) Ltd have been at the forefront of market-leading, innovative changes in the electroplating industry for decades.

The company has experienced all type of electroplating demands of all sizes. Challenged by customers to plate parts that no one else can and delivered. We’ve used those experiences to help shape our engineering department with full grinding capabilities to prep, plate & finish parts ready for customers to take advantage of.

Our plant and facilities operate 24 hours a day delivering on time product. We are ISO 9001-2015 approved giving our customers the peace of mind that we are a company equal in our ability to deliver a quality product. Leading the way in electroplating, application, corrosion protection, improving safety, supporting the environment, and exceeding client expectations on projects of all sizes.

With a focus on a flat layered organisation structure, UKChrome is committed to our people. We have developed a 24-hour plating operation where communication is key. While time spent may be an old term we promote from within, train our people to develop within the business. Electroplating must be taught, and we pride ourselves on the skilled people within the company. Dedicated to on-the-job experience that give our teams the platform to succeed.
